Thanks so much for your interest in guesting with us! Below you’ll find all the details about what it looks like to tattoo at Soul Fire. If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask. And if you’d like to book some time with us, there’s a list at the end of what we’ll need from you to get started.

GUEST WITH SOUL FIRE

Soul Fire Tattoo Studio is located at 227 Wharncliffe Road South in London, Ontario.

We’re a private, welcoming studio with four resident artists and one dedicated guest station. Occasionally, we can host two guest artists at once if one of our resident artists is away.

The studio is open typically Tuesday through Friday. We ask that guest appointments be booked between 11:30am and 6:30pm (approximately). Someone is usually in by 11:00am, so you’re welcome to arrive early to get set up and settled.

✦ The Studio

Our guest artist rate is $180 per day + tax.

This is a flat rate, you keep 100% of what you make beyond that.

You’ll be in charge of booking your own appointments, taking deposits, and handling payment. We’ll promote your visit on our Instagram and direct all client inquiries to you. At the end of your stay, we can provide you with a receipt for your records.

We’ll have all the essentials waiting for you:

  • Disposables (barriers, ink caps, paper towel, dental bibs, massage table covers, etc.)

  • Cleaning supplies

  • Furniture (tattoo beds, arm rests, etc.)

  • Bandages (Hypafix)

  • Stencil paper (8.5x11”, purple, blue, and red) & Bluetooth printer

We also have a photo area with more controlled lighting that you are welcome to use.

✦ WHAT WE PROVIDE

  • Your preferred tattoo machine(s)

  • Power supply + cords

  • Ink

  • Needles / cartridges

  • Any personal or specialty items you like to work with

✦ WHAT TO BRING

  • We have a Bluetooth stencil printer you are welcome to use. Before you visit, we recommend downloading the iPad app “ATS886”

  • We have no computer in the studio

  • We have no Autoclave in the studio

  • If you don’t end up booking a client or have a cancellation for a particular day (and don’t use any supplies), you’re welcome to hang out without paying the day rate, if you’d like.

  • We require all resident & guest artists to hold a current and valid blood-borne pathogens certification

If you’d like to confirm guesting with us at Soul Fire Tattoo Studio, please send us the following:

  • Your glove size

  • Preferred dates (Or general timeframe)

  • 5-6 tattoo images for portfolio

  • A photo of yourself for promotion (optional)

  • Your preferred booking method (email, link, DM, etc.)

  • Valid Blood-borne Pathogens Certification
