How much skin are we talking?
The more area we tattoo, the more time the project will require.

Level of detail
How detailed are we getting?
Simple, open designs can often be completed more quickly than highly detailed textures, realism or colour.

SATURATIon
How much ink are we putting into skin?
Projects that require multiple passes, heavy black, smooth shading, or colour saturation may require more time.

Placement
Where is it going?
Some areas of the body are simply more challenging to tattoo, and may affect the time required.
Working with a budget
Having a budget is completely okay.
If you have a specific investment in mind, let your artist know. Adjustments to the size, level of detail, saturation, or placement can often create a design that fits comfortably within your budget while still looking beautiful.
